We caught up with the Championship 2 league match between CIYMS and Monaghan at Belmont on Saturday afternoon.

CI were quick out of the blocks in this one with a first minute try from Paddy Beverland for a 5 – 0 lead.

Paddy Beverland picked up a brace for CIYMS against Monaghan.

A shell shocked Monaghan looked for a response but CI were next to score as Josh Harrison crashed over for their second try 12 minutes later. Jack Bonnar added the conversing to take the score to 12 – 0.

Further tries followed from Jordan Boyd and Mark Scott, the latter converted, to take . . .
