We aught up with the AIL 2A match between Instonians and MU Barnhall at Shaws Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
This match pitched 2nd against 4th in AIL 2A and, with 3rd placed Cashel hosting first placed Galway Corinthians on the same day, it was one of those doubly important games.
The teams swapped tries over the first 25 minutes.
Instonians opened the scoring after 10 minutes with Bradley McNamara crossing for Josh Eagleson to convert.
Barnhall replied 5 minutes later through a Sean Sexton try and an Adam Chester conversion to take the score to 7 – 7 after 15 minutes.
