Women’s Premiership: Queen’s University 4 Armagh 0

On Saturday lunchtime, Queens faced Armagh in a Women’s Premiership fixture at The Dub.

Queens took control from early on testing Armagh keeper Vicky Cupples. Armagh found it difficult to move the ball out of defence as Queens shut them down.

Zoe Wilson scored Queens 1st goal

Zoe Wilson opened the scoring for Queens in the 9th minute, when her shot seemed to ricochet before trickling over the Armagh goal line.

Ellie Montgomery added a 2nd Queens goal for a 2-0 1st quarter lead on 15 minutes.

Vick Cupples makes yet another save for Armagh

Despite dominating Queens couldn’t beat Cupples and the score remained 2-0 at halftime.
