Schools U16 Trophy: Antrim Grammar 6 Omagh Academy 10 Final

I caught up with the Schools U16 Trophy Final between Antrim Grammar and Omagh Academy at The Royal school Armagh on Saturday morning.

Isaac Lynn kicked two penalties for Antrim Grammar.

Both teams were certainly up for this one with plenty of big hits from the start as defences dominated. It did make the game a bit stop start but Antrim came out of the first half with a 6 – 3 lead after two successful penalties from scrum half Isaac Lynn, Omagh replying with one from Ethan Duncan.

Ethan Duncan kicked a penalty and conversion for Omagh

Omagh played the conditions well in the second half keeping Antrim largely pinned in their own half.
