It was an early 9.00am push back for Methodist College’s visit to Belfast rivals, Grosvenor Grammar School on Saturday.

Though Grosvenor shaded territory and possession, it was Methody, who took a 7th minute 1-0 lead, courtesy of Jonah Jackson, which they held on to at the end of the quarter.

Grosvenor continued to have the lion’s share of possession in the second quarter. It was rewarded when Finn Cross fired home a penalty corner, after 23 minutes to tie the score at 1-1. It was a draw at halftime.
