I caught up with the Ulster Hockey Junior 7 Friday Night Light’s game between Owls 3XI and South Antrim 3XI at Roughfort.

The match started in a light drizzle which didn’t impact the entertaining game but did restrict the lighting for photography.

Owl’s enjoyed a bright start but the game began to swing South Antrim’s way as the first quarter continued. However the teams went into the second quarter with the score at 0 – 0.

Victorial McGregor picked up a first half goal for South Antrim.

South Antrim made their breakthrough towards the end of the second quarter with Victoria McGregor finding the net from out wide to give the visitors a 0 – 0 lead as the teams changed ends.
