Junior 4: Owls II 2 Belfast Harlequins IV 3

I caught up with the Saturday lunchtime Ulster hockey Junior 4 match between Owls 2XI and Belfast Harlequins 4XI at Roughfort.

I arrived a few minutes late for this one and just as I was taking up my position at the top of the pitch Jessica Hunter fired in the opening goal to give Owls a 1 – 0 lead after 5 minutes.

Jessica Hunter opened the scoring for Owls.

The keepers were called into action a few times in a lively first quarter but there were no further goals.

Amy Marshall scored the equaliser for Quins.

Quins found the equaliser towards the end of the second quarter, the goal from Amy Marshall seeing the teams . . .
