I caught up with the All Ireland Hockey League math between Pegasus and University College Cork early Sunday afternoon at the Dub.
The match was played in ideal conditions but the game was the antithesis of the exciting Pegasus match I covered last week against Ulster University Elks.
Pegasus controlled the game from the start as UCC appeared comfortable to pack their defence and look for the occasional break.
If we had got an early goal things might have been different but Pegasus seemed content to keep control of the ball and look for a chance in a fairly uneventful first half.
