I caught up with Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Terenure College Dublin for an All Ireland schools friendly late Saturday morning at Osborne.
Inst started well, perhaps too well, as a loose pass was intercepted by Terenure’s Michael Kennedy who sprinted the length of the field to score under the posts for Will O’Leary to convert for a 0 7 lead after 5 minutes.
RBAI resumed their dominance of territory and possession and nine minutes later they rumbled over in the corner with hooker George Craigan coming up with the ball and an unconverted try to take the score to 5 – 7.
