The third game at Ravenhill on Saturday featured Ulster and Connacht U19 Men’s sides, this one kicking off at 6:30pm.
There was plenty of jeopardy at the end of this one though the thrills and spills count dropped considerably as two evenly matched sides battled it out in the middle of the park.
Ulster looked to have got the scoring started after 25 minutes when the ball was grounded off a pile up under the posts but the referee was either unsighted or found some offence as play was called back as a scrum to the defending team.

The home time did get on the scoreboard a few minutes later when Joel Barron battled over out wide for the opening try just before the half hour mark. Daniel Green added the extras from out wide to put Ulster 7 – 0 . . .
