I caught up with the U16 Boys Representative Friendly between Ulster and Leinster North at Rifle Park on Friday afternoon. The match was played over three 20 minute periods.
There was a stiff breeze blowing up the pitch towards the top car park at Banbridge which saw Ulster under pressure for much of the first period.

However, despite Leinster creating three good chances, some resolute defence and a dropped pass left the game scoreless until Ulster broke downfield for Matthew McAllister to open the scoring after a sustained period of pressure.
