Representative Friendly: Ulster U16 Boys 4 UK Lions 4

Lisnagarvey Hockey Club was the venue for a double header of games featuring Ulster U16 Boys and visitors, UK Lions. First up were Ulster U16 Boys Red.

Adam Price opened the scoring for Ulster

Ulster were fast off the mark. Adam Price’s strike on 4 minutes, was quickly followed by a Max Murphy goal on 8 minutes to give Ulster a 2-0 1st quarter lead.

Lions’ Charlie Buchannan’s 17th minute goal reduced the deficit to 1-2, before Daniel McClughan’s shot moved Ulster out to 3-1. Barney Wain’s goal brought Lions back to 2-3 at the half time break.

There was a solitary goal in the 3rd quarter. Wian Boats equalised for the Lions, after 38 minutes to leave the 3rd quarter score tied at 3-3.
