Premier 2: Belfast Harlequins 29 Clogher Valley 26

Belfast Harlequins welcomed Clogher Valley to Deramore Park for a Ulster Premier 2 clash on Saturday afternoon.

Clogher Valley took the play to the home side and despite a disallowed for Quins, it was the visitors who took the lead with a clever chip over the maul letting Taine Haire touch down for a 0 – 5 lead.

Mark Glover opened the scoring for Quins

It wasn’t long until Quins got their own points on the board with a great run by No 15, Mark Glover converted by Johnny McCracken taking the score to 7 – 5.

Clogher maintained the pressure and it was new signing Luke Russell, who re-established their lead, crashing over for a try, converted by David Maxwell to take it to 7 – 12.
