On Saturday afternoon, in the first game of a double header Ulster U18 Clubs took on the visiting Eagle Impact Rugby Academy, at Newforge Country Club.

After a cagey start Ulster gained a lineout, deep in the EIRA 22. Following several forward drives Don Farrell reached, to score beside the post padding. James McMillen’s conversion gave Ulster a 7-0 lead, after 7 minutes.

Running from deep, Ulster put McMillen into space to touch down, in the right corner. He nailed the conversion from out wide to put Ulster 14-0 up on 11 minutes.
