Representative Rugby: Ulster 12 EIRA 22 U16 Girls

Ulster hosted Eagle Impact rugby Academy (EIRA) on Saturday at The Dub and Newforge for a series of age grade rugby matches. The girls matches were played at the Dub with the U16 Girls encounter the first match.

EIRA were out of the blocks pretty quickly with a try in the first minute from out half Kaiya Wrigley to give the visitors a 0 – 5 lead.

Ulster started to settle into the game with some solid possession but a break out by EIRA ended with their centre Cara Doherty going over for their second try after 12 minutes to push the score out to 0 – 10.

Ulster looked for a response but the American team’s defence held strong and the teams turned round without further score.
