We caught up with the Anderson Cup final between Banbridge and Lisnagarvey at Havelock Park on Saturday afternoon as the Men’s All Ireland Giants met for the fourth time in knock out competition this season I believe.
As expected it was a tight enough first quarter which ended scoreless. However the goals came thick and fast in the second quarter.

Banbridge’s Charlie Rowe opened the scoring on the 23rd minute with a penalty corner strike but Lisnagarvey took a 1 – 2 lead into the second half after a field goal from Daniel Nelson and a penalty corner strike from Andrew Edgar just before the break.
