The second match at Meadowbank on Saturday morning was the U16 Regional Cup Final between Instonians and Newry.
It initially looked as though this was going to be a romp for the Belfast side as Instonians scored two early tries, from Ben McConway and Bradley Beqiri to take a 12 – 0 lead before Newry had barely touched the ball!
However, the Newry side battled back and controlled possession for the next 20 minutes until Dillon Crawford went over on the left before half time to take the score to 12 – 5 as the teams changed ends.
