I caught up with the U14 Regional Cup final between Instonians and an Academy and BHS FP combined side on Saturday morning at Meadowbank Sports Arena.
It was a quality game between two well drilled sides and they largely cancelled each other out in a tight first half.
The Academy combined side picked up the only try in the first period when Harvey Crockard created space to power over on the right. Man of the Match Damhan Gormley added a super conversion, striking the ball after it slipped off the tee.
