We caught up with the Senior 2 relegation play off between Owls and Saintfield at The Dub on Saturday afternoon.

As expected it was a tense first quarter. Owls showed early promise but it remained scoreless.

Zoe Place opened the scoring for Owls

Things heated up in the second quarter with a green card issued to Saintfield and Owls took advantage with a goal from Zoe Place to give the incumbents a 1 – 0 lead at the break.
