The third match at the Ulster Hockey Club Finals at Stormont on Saturday featured Banbridge 4th XI against Mossley 3rd XI on the sand pitch.
It was a lively enough game from the off with Banbridge enjoying the early possession. Mossley worked their way into the game throughout the first quarter but despite both defences being tested the teams went into the second quarter with the score board untroubled.

It was an even enough second quarter, between two well matched sides, but a mistake in the Banbridge defence was pounced on by Mossley’s Kennedy Herron to give Mossley a 0 – 1 lead which they took into the second half.
