It was an early start, at Stormont, for the Men’s Junior 5 League Cup between Armagh and PSNI II.
From push back PSNI took the game to Armagh, pinning them back, only allowing them very rare foray’s into the PSNI half. They created but couldn’t capitalise on the chances they made, and the 1st quarter ended 0-0.

The 2nd quarter was the same. Eventually Calum McCandless broke the deadlock with his 19th minute strike to put PSNI 1-0 up. The PSNI continued to press but couldn’t break down a very stubborn Armagh defence. PSNI lead 1-0 at halftime.
The halftime coaches words obviously made a huge difference. It was a different Armagh in the 3rd  . . .
