We caught up with the Forster plate Final between CIYMS 2nd XV and Ballyclare 3rd XV at Belmont on Saturday afternoon.
It was an entertaining game between two experienced sides
Despite a heavy shower in the first half CI made the most of the conditions crossing for two tries before the break.
Michael Lawton crossed for the first try, around the 20 minute mark, the fullback breaking through the Ballyclare defence to finish close to the posts. Lawton converted his own try to give CI a 7 – 0 lead.
