I caught up with a club-schools match between Larne and Carrick at the Glynn on Wednesday evening.
It was a touch damp and dreary weather wise so I only caught the first half before the lighting became too grainy.
Larne had the, sometimes stiff, breeze behind them and with Ethan Duncan launching some monster kicks the home side took an early lead when Jonny Dallas hit the try line after Carrick were snagged and turned over trying to return one of Duncan’s punts. Duncan added the extras for a 7 – 0 lead.
