Subsidiary Shield: Campbell College 45 Royal School Armagh 14 Final

Campbell College Belfast defeated defending Champions The Royal School Armagh in the Ulster Schools’ Subsidiary Shield Final On Wednesday afternoon at Queen’s Arena.

Armagh struck first with an early try from No. 8 Thomas Dougan, converted by No. 10 Josh Lowey to give Armagh a 0 – 7 lead.

Campbell quickly responded, driving over the line through No. 2 Will Alexander, followed by a conversion from Henry Ralston to tie the game at 7 – 7 .

Captain James McConnell then extended Campbell’s lead with his first try, converted by Ralston to push the score out to 14 – 7.
