On Saturday, at lunchtime Queen’s University II hosted the Women Junior One fixture with Mossley II, at The Dub, Upper Malone.
Queens were strangely lethargic, unable to break out of defence and content to absorb Mossely pressure. Mossely were unable to take chances and the score was 0-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Charlotte McCartney’s strike after 20 minutes gave Mossley a deserved 1-0 lead. Queens were unable to assert themselves and went into halftime 0-1 down.
The 3rd quarter played out scoreless with neither side able to score from chances created.
