On Tuesday afternoon Banbridge Academy faced Strathearn in the final of the Junior Cup at Stormont.

Both teams took a scoreless 1st quarter to settle. Nerves played their part as passes went astray.

Banbridge took control in the 2nd quarter when Evie Hobson found space to fire home, in a crowded D, after 19 minutes to put Banbridge 1-0 up at halftime.

Nyla Mallon converted a 3rd quarter penalty stroke
