On Monday Assumption Grammar School met Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in the Girls’ Schools Cup Final, with a noon kick off at the Kingspan Stadium.
The Girls’ Schools Cup Final is played in a 7-a-side format, over 4 x 7 minute quarters, between squads of 15 players.
With overhead conditions varying between drizzle and light rain, throughout the game, handling was at a premium.

Enniskillen were the first to settle moving the ball wide and unsettling the Assumption defence. On 3 minutes Freya Brennan dived over, beside the posts. Leah Irwin converted for a 7-0 Enniskillen lead.
