The eagerly anticipated 4th XI Cup Final between Banbridge Academy and The Royal School Armagh took place at Stormont Pavilion on Wednesday afternoon.
The Royal School were quick out of the blocks with a goal from Nicole Simmons in the second minute while I was still fiddling about with my camera settings. Despite a good response form Banbridge, Armagh took a 0 – 1 lead into the second quarter.

With both teams now settled into the game it was a lively second quarter though the Banbridge keeper was probably the busiest. However the quarter remained scoreless and we went into the second half with Armagh still holding a one goal lead.
