I caught up with the Ulster Women’s Premiership match between Malone and Omagh Academicals on Sunday afternoon at Gibson Park.

Omagh put in a competitive first half performance despite mostly being on the back foot as Malone pushed forward. The visitors were unlucky not to get points from a couple of breaks and Malone opened the scoring when Rebecca Greenaway opened d the scoring from a pile upon the Omagh line.

Jill Stephens crossed shortly after to give Malone a 10 – 0 lead in the first 20 minutes.
