I caught up with the Junior 2 league match between Ulster University Elks II and Dungannon II on Saturday afternoon at Jordanstown Sports Village.

The Elks started the game with a driving run from Chloe Stewart and it was no surprise that it was Steward that opened the scoring on the 7th minute as she appeared to be everywhere on the pitch.

Chloe Stewart had an industrious game, picking up four goals.

Dungannon battled hard to get into the game but they had no answer to Stewart in this type of form and she added her second goal four minutes later to give the Elks a 2 – 0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
