On Saturday lunchtime Queens faced Ballymoney in a Irish Senior Cup tie at The Dub, Upper Malone.

Given the territory, possession, and tactical dominance of Queens it is a mystery how the game reached halftime scoreless. Ballymoney had a few rare moments in the Queens half, forcing a penalty corner but almost all of the game was played in their half.
