On Saturday lunchtime, Lisnagarvey II were the visitors to the Dub to play Queens II in a Women Junior 1 fixture.

Alisha Bhandari opened the scoring for Queens

Queens were the first to settle creating several chances. On 11 minutes Alisha Bhandari latched on a through ball and beat the advancing Garvey keeper to give Queens a 1-0 lead. Garvey responded but the Queens defence held firm for a 1-0 1st quarter lead.
