On Tuesday Bangor Academy and Craigavon Senior High School faced off at The Dub, Queens University, with a 12.00 noon kick off.

Playing into a cold breeze, which became stronger, Bangor weathered the initial Craigavon storm and scored with their first venture into the Craigavon 22. Sean Hynes sniped over from a quickly taken penalty. He converted his own try for Bangor to lead 7-0 after 4 minutes.
