We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Schoolgirls Senior Plate match between Carrickfergus Grammar and Antrim Grammar on Saturday morning at Carrick.

Carrick took the initiative early on with goals from Mia McCracken and Olivia Whiteside to take a 2 – 0 lead in the first quarter.

Olivia Whiteside scored two goals for Carrick

Antrim Grammar came bustling back with a well taken strike from Emma Louise White to take the score to 2 – 1 at half time.
