I caught up with the Ulster Schoolgirls Senior Cup Quarter Final match between Wallace High School and The Royal School Armagh late Friday evening at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club.

In a well contested game RSA took the lead in the first quarter after a driving run across the D by Annie Cunningham who powered the ball into the net for a 0 – 1 lead to the visitors.

The defending champions doubled their lead in the second half with Mia Taylor finding the final touch at a penalty corner to take the score to 0 – 2.
