Schools Cup: Wallace High 31 Royal School Armagh 7

Wallace High welcomed The Royal School Armagh to Lisburn for a Schools Cup Last 16 clash on Saturday morning. A subdued atmosphere at Wallace heralded the kick-off between the home team and their Schools Cup 4th round opponents.

Utilising the slope and wind to contain Armagh in their 22, Wallace were soon off the mark as they the powerful pack hammered at the Armagh line with flanker Ben Moore eventually breaking through after 7 minutes, to touch down for his sides opening try which Lewis Stevenson neatly converted for a 7 – 0 lead.

This blitz continued and a well executed move through the hands allowed scrum half Alex Stevenson to finish in the corner. The tricky conversion was missed but Wallace had the start . . .
