Campbell College welcomed their friends for Methodist College to Fox’s Field on Saturday morning for a Medallion Shield match
Campbell got off the the best of starts Captain and backrower David Nelson crossed the try line early thanks to a powerful driving maul, set up by Charlie Best’s excellent take at the lineout. Sam Bowen’s attempt at the conversion fell just wide, but Campbell’s 5-0 lead set the tone for the match.
Methody fly-half Jacob Trigg led his team into Campbell’s half with good control, but a try attempt was held up just before halftime, keeping the score 5-0 to Campbell.
The second half saw Campbell extend their lead.
