I picked up the Forster Cup match Between Instonians 3rd XV and Donegal Town at Shaw’s Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Instonians got on the scoreboard early with a try from fullback Conor Field straight from the kick off. Andy Keane added the extras to give the home side a 7- 0 lead.

Conor Field stole the show with four tries for Instonians.

Donegal Town shook off their travels and worked their way into the game over the next ten minutes before their hard working wing forward Gareth McMurray chased down a kick ahead to take the score to 7 – 5.
