We caught up with the Crawford Cup clash between Queen’s University 3rd XV and Ballymoney 2nd Xv on Saturday afternoon at the Dub.
This Crawford Cup clash was an uneven bout totally dominated by the ruthless attack from the visitors to the dub.
Kicking off with the wind behind them Ballymoney quickly established an attacking field position in Queens 22 and were over the line at the posts with a charge from hooker Joel Hegarty comfortably converted by centre Chris Watson to give them an early 7-0 lead.

The students were back in their own 22 from the restart but offered stout defence and it took a further 18 minutes before Ballymoney could add to their score after lock . . .
