I caught up with the second half of the Ulster Women’s Premiership match between league leaders Malone and 5th placed Ballynahinch on Sunday as the second part of my double header at Gibson Park.
I actually got over just before the first half ended with Malone leading 31 – 0 after tries from Sarah Murphy, Lauren Maginness, Jill Stephens and Grainne Murphy with Donna McGovern adding 3 conversions. Malone winger Mia Ferguson added a 5th try, converted by McGovern, with the last play of the half to take it to 31 – 0 at the break.
Despite the score line it was a competitive game which Hinch probably should have got more out off . . .
