Junior Cup: Sullivan Upper 0 Killicomaine Junior High 5

I caught up with the Junior Cup match between Sullivan Upper and Killicomaine Junior High early Saturday morning at Holywood.

It was an entertaining match with both teams giving their all. However, Killicomaine were able to take their chances and they opened the scoring about 8 minutes in with a goal from their captain Maisy Hannath to give the visitors a 0 – 1 lead in the first quarter.

Maisy Hannath scored a hat-trick for Killicomaine.

The Junior High doubled their lead in the second quarter with captain Hannath again on target and they took a 0 – 2 lead into the second half.
