We ended our morning trip to Banbridge with the Women’s Junior 2 match at Havelock Park between Banbridge and Ulster University Elks 2nd XI’s.
As expected in a table top clash, it was a close game throughout but the Elks eked out an early advantage in the second quarter with a goal from Nieve Caldwell to give the visitors a 0 – 1 lead at half time.
The second half was equally tight and there was no score in the third quarter.
