It was an early start on Saturday morning at Pirrie Park for the 1st Round Senior Schools Cup Tie between Methodist College and east Belfast neighbours Bloomfield Collegiate.
Bloomfield came up against a ruthless, well coordinated Methody squad, featuring some of the players, who would represent Ulster U16s and U18s, the next day and, who would take no prisoners.

From push back Methody took control denying Bloomfield possession and territory. It was surprising that it took 11 minutes before Erin Pim opened the scoring with a rasping shot. Methody led 1-0 and the end of the 1st quarter.
