On a grey and overcast Saturday Morning, The Royal School Armagh were the visitors to Osborne Park to play Royal Belfast Academical Institution in a Schools Friendly.
It didn’t take long for Inst to make an impression. From a ruck close to the line Alex Place spotted a gap and dived over for the first score. His conversion had Inst leading 7-0 after 3 minutes.

Armagh frustrated Inst, bogging them down in midfield, without creating many chances themselves. An Evan Hughes penalty goal reduced the deficit to 3-7 after 19 minutes.
