There was more success for CIYMS in the Provincial Regional East match at Belmont as their 2nd XV came out on top against Instonians 3rd XV in a top 4 clash.

The game started evenly, with CIYMS playing mainly in the visitors’ half for the first quarter. A try in the 8th minute from early substitute Michael Houston, converted by fullback Ewan Nelson, gave the hosts an early lead.

CI’s Michel Houston (red cap) came away with two tries for the home team.

In a quick reply, Instonians were awarded a penalty, which was landed by fullback Kailen Cantley in the 14th minute.
