Our third photographer at Roughfort this weekend caught the Minor Cup match between Owls 3rds and CI 4ths in a lunch time pass back.
The game was played in heavy fog which made seeing the far side of the pitch difficult at times but both sides gamely carried on, producing some nice hockey.
It was CI who were dominant in the first quarter but good defending held them at bay.
The second quarter had Owls beginning to gain the upper hand and midway through the quarter, Emma Campbell picked up a rebound from the keeper’s pad and tucked it home to open the scoring for the home team.
