Ulster Elks preseason friendlies continued on Monday evening, at the Jordanstown Sports Village, this time the visitors were Ards.

Elks were caught cold in the opening minutes, when Frankie Brown latched on to a through ball and guided it past keeper, Gemma Ferguson, to take a 1-0 lead after only 2 minutes.

However, the lead did not last long. Elks won a corner and from a cross shot Jess McMaster was on hand with the vital flick to equalise, after 4 minutes. It was 1 . . .
