We caught up with Ulster U16 Girls on Sunday afternoon as they played their second mach against Scottish Midlands U16 Girls at Larne Rugby Club.
Ulster had been convincing winners in their Saturday game but their Scottish visitors certainly pushed them all the way in this game played over two 25 minute halves.
It was a fairly quiet opening first quarter which fell into a pattern of big carries from the Ulster forwards and quick breaks from the Scottish backs in between quite a few stoppages.

However, the game sprang to life in the second quarter with a great try from the Scottish side’s Niamh Waters who produced a couple of arcing runs and quick feet . . .
