Minor Plate: Queen’s University V 8 South Antrim III 0 Final

We caught up with another set of Ulster Hockey finals at Stormont Pavilion on Saturday. First up was the Minor Plate match between Queen’s University 5th XI and and South Antrim 3rd XI.

A lively Queen’s site took control form the opening quarter with goals from Alex Wilson and Rhiannon White giving the students a 2 – 0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Captain Fantastic Emily Johnston scored twice for Queen’s against South Antrim

Queen’s continued to push in the second period and they added two more goals to take a 4 – 0 lead into the second half with Emily Johnston and Zara Hanna finding the net.
