Over the weekend, Friday to Sunday, Hockey Ireland hosted the 2023 Four Nations Tournament, at ‘The Dub Playing Fields’, Queens University, Belfast, for Over 40s and 50s Teams from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

Ireland were stunned going 2-0 down in 4 minutes to Stuart Avery and Jonty Crawford goals. Ian Creighton pulled one back for Ireland, before Prabot Hunjan gave England a 3-2 1st quarter lead. English pressure yielded a 2nd quarter goal, from Paul Dover and a 4-1 halftime lead.
